“My kids know me well so when my son invited me to try a 6 am Hot Yoga class back in August 2013 I figured why not? 

Years of long-distancing running had taken a toll, and with only a few Greek festivals a year to dance with friends to great music it was time for something new. After a few classes under Kirti’s guidance I had found my niche. 

Kirti narrates and practices with us so her classes are well-structured, visually clear, inclusive and fun. Her “Never do more than your body lets you do” –is a gentle reminder that yoga practice is not a contest–it’s a friend for life. 

With all the Covid stresses we try to manage each class Kirti offers is an oasis – where down dogs, forward folds, triangles, backbends, balancing sticks, and more are energizing and restorative. 

And Kirti welcomes questions – Asking her about a stiff shoulder is how I learned the words for what I have always loved about running, dancing and yoga: Motion is lotion for the body.”
